The Data & Web Assistant works with the Data Manager, the Software & Web Analyst, and staff to provide data and web accuracy and support for Wellesley Public Schools.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt (Computer Personnel).
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
The Data & Web Assistant reports to the Data Manager, with input from the Software & Web Analyst, and other constituents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Possess great attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Preferred software experience: PowerSchool, WordPress, G Suite for Education, SchoolMessenger, FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, highly proficient in Excel, DESE Security Portal.
Duties:
- Maintain the accuracy of the WPS information systems data and associated data, including End-Of-Year processes;
- Provide excellent customer support to staff, students, and parents;
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;
- Collect and ensure accuracy for Federal & State Reports;
- Assist with school scheduling;
- Ensure information on the district website is accurate and updated in a timely manner;
- Provide training, documentation, and support to staff on student information systems and website content management systems;
- Assist in developing and testing custom reports for users;
- Escalate issues to the Data Manager or Software Analyst as needed;
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Year: (215 days per fiscal year - student school days (180) plus eighteen (18) days)
Salary/Benefits: Benefits Eligible, Salary commensurate with qualifications, range of $29.84-39.48/hour
