The Wellesley Public Schools currently have openings for Day-to-Day Substitute coverage in regular education, special education, teaching assistant and paraprofessional positions. Also, content areas of Music; Art; Physical Education, Library and Foreign Language. Candidates who have completed their Junior or Senior year of a Bachelor's program are welcome to apply. The beginning per diem rate for substitute teachers is $147.80/ full-day and $88.68/ early release half-day. Please see scale below:
Step 1 $147.80 (days worked 0 - 75 days of service)
Step 2 $164.85 (days worked 76- 150 days of service)
Step 3 $170.53 (days worked 151-200 days of service)
Step 4 $187.59 (Over 201 days of service)
